selection — listen to the poster

Music events opens a wide spectrum for possibilities and explorations for poster design. It’s not just about putting together the artist name, date and location, but to give a perspective of the music to come.

In this selection, named “Listen to the poster”, we picked a few of our member’s posters that represents music itself. Some appears like sound effects, others, a whole song; some high tones such as a tinkling chime, and others, a Cello’s bass scratch.

Maybe the event information becomes secondary and harder to read? But maybe it’s more effective that way? In either way, music have a great potential for aesthetics. Hope this short selection widens up your mind, to understand the audible message of the poster.
